Indian Traces
- My interest in art began with the purchase of a small oil painting in Germany more than 40 years ago.
This was the starting point of a hobby, which is still captivating me today: the collection of pieces of art.
Due to my work in the IT - business, which lead to several long-term assignments on the west coast of the United States of America, a new focus of my collecting activities came about, namely - Native American artifacts (paintings, pottery, beadworks, kachinas, baskets, jewelry und textils).
In these internet pages I am offering many items of my own collection for sale at reasonable prices. If you are looking for anything specific and can't find it here feel free to contact me. Many items can be provided through my contacts to dealers and other collectors.

The internet presence of Indian Traces started in November 2020. It strives to offer quality items to collectors of artifacts made by and attributed to the Natives of Northern America. In addition to a majority of authentic items, which were crafted by members of various Indian Nations, several items made by non-indian artists are being offered, the latter having a strong connection to culture and lifestyle of Native Americans. All items offered are clearly marked regarding their authenticity.
At present time not all pages or categories have been completed, however the items displayed in each page header give a rough idea of what offers to expect in each category in the weeks ahead.
Finally, I welcome any suggestions and comments which will help me to improve the Indian Traces internet pages.
